Greetings from the Mid-Atlantic US & the Motherland of Africa!

“Remove the dross from the silver, and a silversmith can produce a vessel; remove wicked officials from the king’s presence, and his throne will be established through righteousness.” (Proverbs 25:4-5)
Dear Raul, Lynda, and FOMM Family,

Greetings from Washington, DC!  Despite the recent challenges caused by a deceitful faction that has arisen within our churches, I am grateful at how these hardships have served to unite our church family and purify God’s movement.  The LORD has enabled us to strengthen and protect the hearts of many disciples across the movement as we strive to honor Jesus’ sacrifice through our unity (John 17:23).  Patrique and I are grateful for the Morenos’ faithful leadership as we continue to pray for God to grant us the wisdom and righteousness needed to win this lost world.

In our recently planted mission teams to Raleigh (North Carolina) and Columbia (South Carolina), their young leaders were sadly deceived and led astray by sentimental relationships and the “fine-sounding arguments” of the faction (Colossians 2:4).  Nevertheless, the mature disciples on both teams were able to stand firm and reject their baseless claims with courage and faithfulness.  Remarkably, even some baby Christians displayed the strength of their convictions as they chose to obey the Biblical direction to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” by remaining in God’s movement. (Ephesians 4:3-4).  We look forward to replanting these great cities with leaders of integrity in the near future!

God has blessed our perseverance through these trials as He continues to forcefully advance our efforts across the mid-Atlantic and the Motherland of Africa!  Blaise & Patricia Feumba and all of our French Africa leaders are united with God’s movement as we continue to forcefully advance the kingdom and strengthen our congregations despite Satan’s schemes.  We are family…to the End!

Mid-Atlantic: Washington, DC USA

It was great to give a warm welcome to Ryan & Jodianne Lumpkin and James & Jody Park as they placed membership with the DC Church on October 6th!
Jose (a single professional), Nigel (a Howard Univ campus student) & and Brailin (a single professional) were baptized on October 6th!
It was a joy to welcome Sal & Patricia Velasco to DC from LA on October 10th!  They inspired us with the Braveheart Ministry – a program dedicated to helping disciples master their emotions and “draw out the heart” of others! (Proverbs 20:5)
The LORD continues to add to the diversity of the DC Church as Enyu Ling (center), a University of Maryland campus student of Chinese heritage, was baptized on October 13th!
Our International Day on October 20th highlighted the diversity of the DC Church, as the brothers prayed in multiple languages, including Korean, Edo, Spanish, Vietnamese, French and English! 
The Asian disciples in the DC church represented China, Vietnam and Philippines and Korea!   
The Latino disciples of the DC Church were also very proud of their heritage, as they have roots from El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Mexico and more!
The motherland of Africa was also represented, in particular Nigeria, Central African Republic, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia!
The disciples with Jamaican heritage were one of the strongest contingents in the DC church!
Our Campus Ministry was on FIRE at their annual Campus Sunday Service on October 27th, as it featured disciples from six different campuses in the DMV area!
The Campus Service concluded with two incredible baptisms – Samson (Gallaudet University) and Mily (Howard University)!
Due to the faction’s schemes, the disciples in Raleigh and Columbia were abandoned by their young leaders.  Patrique and I traveled to Columbia on October 27th to gather and encourage the remaining sold-out disciples.  Their maturity, faith and courage inspired our hearts! 
Our trip to Barcelona, Spain from October 30th to November 3rd for the 2024 Global AMS/Singles Conference & EMC was a welcome refreshment to our hearts as almost 700 disciples were united to be “Always Triumphant” in Christ!  Our MERCYww Day was inspiration as we took selfies together to share the impact of MERCYworldwide around the world!
My dear brother in the Battle, Michael Williamson, was a gracious host as he and Michele welcomed us with open arms!  It was a great joy to celebrate the baptism of his beautiful daughter, Mia Grace, as one of the nine baptisms at the end of the conference!  Thank you Williamsons!

Mid-Atlantic: Delaware USA

Naveah, a campus student at the University of Delaware, was baptized on October 20th!
The disciples in Delaware warmed our hearts as Patrique and I traveled to them from November 15-17th to encourage the church.  The Delaware disciples are ready to win the million souls of the “First State” as they seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness!
Please pray for a great harvest in this young church as Beaman and Christian (third and fourth from right), students at the University of Delaware, are eager to progress in their Bible studies!

West Africa: Lagos, Nigeria

Kikelomo Johnson is a 28 year old Creative Artist who was baptized on September 10th!  She was first introduced to the church four years ago when her sister placed membership from the ICOC.  Kikelomo’s heart was broken when our dear sister Abigail Akinfenwa passed away in September and was inspired to study the Bible the day after Abigail’s funeral.  After she forgave the men who had abused her, she was ready to be baptized into Christ!
Daniel, Emeka and Tomiwa were baptized on September 11th!  Daniel is a DJ, Emeka is a professional handyman, and Tomiwa is a musician!  To God be the glory!
Eniola Shojobi (center), a student of Accounting at Lagos State University, was baptized on September 22nd!  
Damilare (center), an Accounting student at Adekunle Ajasin University, was baptized on October 27th!  He is the brother of a campus brother in Lagos!
Hope Sunday (center), a fashion designer, was baptized on November 10th!  She was invited by her former boyfriend, who broke up with her to become a true disciple about three months earlier!

West Africa: Accra, Ghana

Lady Vanessa Derry (center) a student of English and Political Science at the University of Ghana was baptized!  
Yanimife Adeleke (center), a student in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Ghana, was baptized on October 23rd!
Joshua Audifferen (center), a Marketing student at Lancaster University’s extension campus in Ghana, was baptized on October 27th!
Melvin Sakyi (center), a law student at Wisconsin International University, was baptized on October 30th!
Jean Ziza (center), an international student from Gabon, attending the College of Intercom Programming and Manufacturing Company (IPMC) was baptized!

East Africa: Nairobi, Kenya

The disciples from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Tanzania celebrated their East Africa Congregational Service on October 6th!
My dear son in the faith and the fiery Nairobi Evangelist, Tolani Abiodun, welcomed the disciples from Kampala, Uganda to Nairobi for their Congregational Service.  The disciples were joyful despite traveling for over 13 hours!
Brian Otieno, a campus student at the University of Nairobi, was baptized at the Congregational Service on October 6th!  
Myra Minayo, a recent University graduate, came out of the waters rejoicing at her baptism at the Congregational Service!
The East Africa disciples are united in their efforts to win the their respective countries for Christ!
Arnold Mugabo, a Nairobi disciple, was recently featured in November on a sport podcast for an interview as one of the few Sports Performance Trainers in Kenya!
Purity Nyaga (center), a student in Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Nairobi, was baptized on November 3rd!
Deji & Gbemisola Aregbesola (left), leaders of the Kampala Church (Uganda) are grateful for the mentorship of Kate & Tolani Abiodun as they dream to win all of East Africa for the LORD!

Southern Africa: Johannesburg, South Africa

The Joburg Church celebrated their national Heritage Day on September 24th!  Ntandazo and Ma Jeanette were stunning in their traditional attire!
Peraldino Chelengo (center), a Mozambique national, was baptized on Wednesday, September 25th!  His story is miraculous, as he had come to South Africa to take English classes over six months earlier, and was frequently invited by a Joburg brother, Stephen (left), but to no avail.  On a return trip home to Mozambique to have his passport stamped, he sat next to a brother from our newly planted Maputo Church, Musa, who of course knew Stephen!  On Peraldino’s return to Joburg, he eagerly studied the Bible and was baptized!
Peraldino (center), was greeted by the Maputo disciples when he arrived in Mozambique!  Musa (second from left), the Maputo disciple who met Peraldino, was encouraged that the united faith of the kingdom inspired Peraldino to become a Christian!  It is awesome to witness how the “complete unity” of God’s kingdom inspires people to seek the LORD! (John 17:23)
Our dear sons and daughters in the faith – the Joburg Cradle Choir – greeted us at the airport when we arrived in Barcelona, Spain on October 29th!  They had been invited to perform at the Global AMS/Singles Conference & EMC and were an inspiration to the European disciples!
The Joburg Cradle Choir were looking sharp on the Banquet Night of the EMC!  God blessed the faith of these Joburg disciples by approving their visas and providing donors for their flights and hotel rooms!  Their dynamic performances brought the disciples to tears.  Well done!
At Midweek on November 6th, Zweli Bhengu was baptized!  He first came out to the 2023 “Tap Into Your Talent” (an AMS showcase) and had studied the Bible.  Sadly, he didn’t make it at that time.  Rotshi (right), a Joburg brother, inadvertently sent him a text message meant for another person to study the Bible, and Zweli came!  This time he was ready and has become your brother in the LORD!
The Joburg disciples were ready to Run4MIssions as they fundraised to reach a goal of R180,000 (approximately $10,000)!
By the grace of God, they blew out their goal, reaching over R200,000 (approximately $11,000)!  To God be the glory!
At their Special Missions Service on November 17th, Neo Mokoenene, a student at the University of Johannesburg, was baptized!

Southern Africa: Lusaka, Zambia

Patrique and I are so proud of Nick Winn & Christine Alamu, the vibrant leaders of the Lusaka Church, as they celebrated their 1st Anniversary on October 6th!
The LORD blessed them with 60 visitors in attendance for glorious worship!
Severine (left) and Charlie (third) were appointed as ministry interns at their Anniversary Service!
The Lusaka brothers celebrated a precious baptism on October 20th!
Chindalo Mubanga (left), a Zambian national converted in Sydney, Australia, has returned to his native country to preach the word as a new ministry intern!
Paul (red shirt), a business student at the University of Zambia, was baptized on October 30th!
Please pray for Wamunyima Yeta (left), a school friend of Charlie (Lusaka ministry intern), who loves the vision for Southern Africa!  He works for the Lusaka Chamber of Commerce, and travels often between Zambia and Angola!
Bertha (third from left), a lawyer and the physical sister of Cynthia (fourth from left) was baptized on November 17th!  She is now eager to persuade other women to seek the LORD with all their hearts!

God continues to move powerfully across the Mid-Atlantic US and the Motherland of Africa!  Thank you for all your prayers, financial support and love as we dream to win the nations in THIS generation for God’s glory!

Greetings from the Mid-Atlantic US & the Motherland of Africa!

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)
Dear Raul, Lynda and FOMM Family,

Greetings from Raleigh, North Carolina!  Patrique and I are excited to be with the saints here as we prepare to celebrate the 5th church planting in the last 30 days for the Africanus World Sector on Sunday!  God has given us the strength to travel across two continents to oversee these incredible victories for the LORD.  The five church plantings within the last 30 days are:  August 18th – Maputo (Mozambique); August 25th – Morgantown (West Virginia, USA); September 8th – Columbia (South Carolina, USA); September 15th – Lome (Togo); and by faith on Sunday, Raleigh (North Carolina, USA)!  To God be the glory!  We also had the privilege to celebrate the “Sweet Sixteen” Anniversary of the great DC Church, as well as anniversary services in Johannesburg and Nairobi.

In addition to the forcefully advancing plantings over the past month, I was also reminded of the Apostle Paul’s admonition to the church in Romans 12:15, “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.”  Sadly, on August 31st, Patrique and I received tragic news that will be forever etched in our hearts – the passing of Abigail Akinfenwa, the beautiful 21-year-old daughter of Bolaji & Chinyere Akinfenwa, leaders of the Lagos Church.  Abigail was like a daughter to Patrique and I, and we were overjoyed to witness her baptism in Lagos back in 2018.  She was a great friend to our daughter Naomi and was also involved in her conversion last year as well.  Words cannot describe the emotional pain, yet we were proud of the faith and resilience of Bolaji & Chinyere, who have continued to work through their emotions with courage and vulnerability.  Please continue to pray for this valiant couple as God comforts their hearts. (Psalm 34:18)

In French-speaking Africa, our brother Blaise Feumba reported about the successful planting of Lome, Togo and 18 additions this week across 10 French Africa churches.  Please pray for these valiant saints as they continue to overcome many hardships to proclaim the gospel. 

Mid-Atlantic USA: Washington DC

For the first time in the history of the Men’s Ministry of the DC Church, a campus student, a single professional campus, and a married professional were baptized on the same day!  From left to right: Saul (a single professional); Eder (a campus student at University of Maryland); and Jordan (a married professional) were all baptized on September 1st!  They are honored to be triplets in the LORD!
On September 8th, a Howard University freshman, Ashad (center) was joyfully baptized into Christ in DC!  
It is remarkable what God has done in the DC Church since its planting in 2008 – planting the Denver, Delaware, and Morgantown Churches, as well as sending disciples to support churches in New York City and Santiago – and the best is yet to come!  To God be the glory!

Mid-Atlantic USA: Columbia, SC

On September 8th, Patrique and I celebrated the Inaugural Service of the Columbia ICC led by JP and Makayla Thrasher!  Remarkably, this young planting saw three campus baptisms BEFORE their Inaugural, and has since baptized three more souls!  
Marcus (fourth from left with towel), a campus student at the University of South Carolina (USC), was baptized on Friday, August 30th!
Jacob (third from right), is a USC student who was baptized on September 1st!
Dani (second from left), a USC student, was joyfully baptized on Thursday, September 5th!
Theo (third from left), a USC pre-med senior, was baptized on Tuesday, September 10th!
Dorian (fourth from right), a freshman at USC, was baptized on Wednesday, September 11th!
Abby (center), a USC freshman, was baptized on Wednesday, September 18th!

Mid-Atlantic USA: Raleigh, NC

in Raleigh, NC, a freshman campus student at NC State, Grace (center) was baptized on August 26th!
in Raleigh, NC, a freshman campus student at NC State, Kelsey (center) was baptized on August 28th!
On September 18th, three campus students were baptized into Christ in the Raleigh ICC – Andrew, Danielle and Colby!  To God be the glory!

Motherland of Africa: Lagos, Nigeria

Please pray for the Akinfenwa Family at the loss of their beautiful daughter Abigail.  She was beloved by the entire Lagos Church for her selfless service and care for others.  Her passing has enabled us to address the severe stigma of mental health that causes many in Nigeria to “suffer in silence.”  She will be missed deeply.
The entire Akinfenwa Family showed remarkable strength and resilience during this heartbreaking time.  Pray specifically for Toby and Timothy (in forefront with white shirts) as they were Abigail’s younger brothers.  
By the grace of God, the Lagos Church was encouraged at the close of Abigail’s Candelight Service by the baptisms of three single professionals – Emeka, Daniel and Tomiwa!  To God be the glory!
Bolaji & Chinyere Akinfenwa are heroes in the faith and an inspiration to Patrique and me.  It will always be an honor to have them by our side as we witness all of West Africa won for the LORD despite the life’s challenges.  They have been the epitome of remaining hopeful in the LORD while suffering grief.  (1 Peter 1:6-7).  We love you Bolaji & Chinyere – we are united to the End!

Motherland of Africa: Nairobi, Kenya

The Nairobi Church was inspired to celebrate its first anniversary service on September 15th!
The LORD blessed the faith of the Nairobi disciples as 81 souls were in attendance – 15 disciples, 11 children and 55 guests!  This does not include another 4 disciples in Rwanda, 1 in Ethiopia and 1 in Tanzania!  Please pray for East Africa to be won for the LORD. 
Jenipher (center) was baptized on August 25th, and was a “Kingdom Kid” who was known by Risper (left) and Joy (right).  Joy and Jenipher were both kingdom kids in our former fellowship!
Please pray for Jenipher’s parents, Tabitha and Dan, who were once part of the ICOC but need to be restored.  They shared after the Nairobi Service that “there is life here!”  Please pray for them to get united with God’s new movement.

Motherland of Africa: Johannesburg, South Africa

The Joburg ICC celebrated their 5th Anniversary on September 15th with their new leaders, Kwaku & Ashley Sarkodie!  Patrique and I are grateful to the Sarkodies for their love for God and his movement since taking over the church in July.  They have become a dear son and daughter in the faith who have given their hearts to see all of Southern Africa evangelized!

Kyle (center), a student at the University of Witwatersrand, was baptized on September 15th!

Motherland of Africa: Lusaka, Zambia

The Lusaka brothers rejoiced at the baptisms of Shammah and Cannacious (center), students at the University of Zambia!  By the grace of God, Lusaka Evangelist Nick Winn also received a two-year work permit visa after being forced to return to South Africa for two months! (Ecclesiastes 8:6)
Late post:  The Lusaka sisters rejoiced at the baptism of Christie, a 1st year student at the University of Zambia studying physiology on August 4th!

Motherland of Africa: Maputo, Mozambique

After a glorious Inaugural Service on August 18th, the Maputo ICC celebrated three more souls being baptized on September 15th!

It has been an inspiration to witness the saints in the Africanus World Sector be strengthened by our LORD as we give our best to Him despite the life’s challenges.  THANK YOU for your continued financial support through missions as we witness the Motherland of Africa and the Mid-Atlantic US won for the LORD in THIS generation!

Greetings from the Mid-Atlantic US & the Motherland of Africa!

“Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever.  They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor.” (Isaiah 60:21)
Dear Raul, Lynda and FOMM Family,

Immediately after an inspiring ICLS in Chicago, we celebrated the planting of our first Portuguese-speaking church on the Motherland of Africa – Maputo, Mozambique!!  It was a privilege to come from Washington DC and welcome Raul & Lynda (Mexico City) along with several disciples from Johannesburg (South Africa) and Lusaka (Zambia) for this historic planting last weekend.  It was a dream come true for our dear sister, Dr. Carol Nhavoto, a native Mozambican who was converted by a DC sister, Tina Nwachukwu (now Dhladhla), back in 2013 while Carol was attending a medical conference in Paris, France.  Carol is a cardiologist who returned to Maputo and remained connected with our movement for over a decade, persevering in her faith while also being fruitful with her sister, Tânia, who is a dentist!  

Despite their hectic schedule, Patrique and I were grateful for the Morenos’ joining us in Maputo, as we had previously worked together years earlier to find a solution to plant the Portuguese-speaking nations of Africa through the sacrifice of our São Paulo (Brazil) church, led by the Morenos’ son and daughter in the faith, Vini & Bia Rodrigues.  This talented young couple was eager to send four members of their church to be trained by us in Johannesburg back in 2022: Yuri Lauriano de Oliveira, Samara Santos, Bruna Oliveira, and José Brandão!  It was a joy to train these young disciples to become a powerful mission team for Maputo with the Nhavoto sisters and a Joburg disciple, Musa Sibiya.  With 31 disciples in attendance during their Inaugural Service, this small yet mighty team of eight disciples had 118 in attendance with 15 children and 80 visitors!  They have already baptized a campus student named Victor!  The day was truly a victory for the LORD!

BRAVE: Washington, DC

It was exciting to represent for the DC Church at the ICLS!  
I am truly a blessed man as Patrique and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary on August 6th while in Chicago for the conference!
Patrique was on fire as she shared powerfully at the ICLS with the conference title, “Blessed to Share His Heart!”
I was honored (along with my dear brother Chris Adams) to be selected to join the prestigious group of Movement Worship Leaders as we strive to develop dynamic worship ministries across the kingdom!

Motherland: Maputo (Mozambique)

Upon our arrival to Maputo, Patrique and I were graciously met by members of the Maputo Team as well as disciples from Joburg and Lusaka!  Tânia (next to Patrique under flag) and Carol (far right with glasses under flag) kept saying “it is really happening!”  Samara (next to Tânia) and Yuri (far back with glasses) have done a great job leading this mission team to success!
It was a joy to spend this historic time with Raul & Lynda, who were visiting the continent of Africa for the first time…but definitely not the last!  Mozambique will be forever etched on their hearts!
Patrique and I were very proud of the 31 Joburg disciples who traveled over 12 hours by bus to attend the Inaugural! 
Yuri and Samara planned an excellent weekend for all the disciples in town, treating us with a bus tour of several attractions across the beautiful city of Maputo!  
God blessed our efforts in sharing our faith on campus on Saturday as several visitors joined us for worship on Sunday!  I was privileged to have a new friend, Lino (second from left) a campus student at Eduardo Mondlane University, join us for worship and who also invited his friend Jose (third from left) to come as well!
The sermon was electric as Raul preached his first message in Africa entitled, “The Four Levels of Faith!”  Lynda also shared good news from God’s movement from around the world!
Everyone in attendance was also moved by the vulnerable Communion message (given by Yuri & Samara), the inspiring Contribution (given by Kwaku & Ashley Sarkodie), as well beautiful singing by the Joburg choir and powerful Mozambican traditional dancing!
Victor (center), a campus student at Eduardo Mondlane University, was baptized soon after the Mission Team’s arrival in the beautiful Indian Ocean!  Please pray for the many studies that have begun since the Inaugural Service to bear abundant fruit for the LORD!
Patrique and I were also encouraged to celebrate Yuri and Bruna’s new dating relationship!  God has great things in store for Mozambique and all of Portuguese-speaking Africa!
A prayer and dream for 11 years has finally been realized in God’s timing – we are so proud of the faith of our dear sister Carol Nhavoto! (Psalm 126:1-3)
Please pray for all the Portuguese-speaking nations in Africa (highlighted in red) to be won for the LORD!  Angola is next!

Birth Announcement!

Taliah Abiodun, the second beautiful daughter born to Tolani and Kate Abiodun (Nairobi, Kenya ministry leaders), was born on July 25th!
Please pray for this beautiful family as Tolani & Kate oversee the work in Nairobi and all of East Africa for God’s glory!

“The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”  (Psalm 126:3).  Please continue to pray for all of the 21 churches in Africa and the 5 churches in the mid-Atlantic US as we prepare for four more Inaugural Services (US Churches: Morgantown, Columbia and Raleigh; Africa: Lome, Togo) in the upcoming weeks – we are traveling to Morgantown, West Virginia tomorrow!  God’s Spirit is moving as He continues to establish His modern-day movement.  Thank you for all your prayers, love and support.

Greetings from the Mid-Atlantic US & the Motherland of Africa!

“Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor.” (Isaiah 60:21)
Dear Raul, Lynda and FOMM Family,

Immediately after an inspiring ICLS in Chicago, we celebrated the planting of our first Portuguese-speaking church on the Motherland of Africa – Maputo, Mozambique!! It was a privilege to come from Washington DC and welcome Raul & Lynda (Mexico City) along with several disciples from Johannesburg (South Africa) and Lusaka (Zambia) for this historic planting last weekend. It was a dream come true for our dear sister, Dr. Carol Nhavoto, a native Mozambican who was converted by a DC sister, Tina Nwachukwu (now Dhladhla), back in 2013 while Carol was attending a medical conference in Paris, France. Carol is a cardiologist who returned to Maputo and remained connected with our movement for over a decade, persevering in her faith while also being fruitful with her sister, Tânia, who is a dentist!

Despite their hectic schedule, Patrique and I were grateful for the Morenos’ joining us in Maputo, as we had previously worked together years earlier to find a solution to plant the Portuguese-speaking nations of Africa through the sacrifice of our São Paulo (Brazil) church, led by the Morenos’ son and daughter in the faith, Vini & Bia Rodrigues. This talented young couple was eager to send four members of their church to be trained by us in Johannesburg back in 2022: Yuri Lauriano de Oliveira, Samara Santos, Bruna Oliveira, and José Brandão! It was a joy to train these young disciples to become a powerful mission team for Maputo with the Nhavoto sisters and a Joburg disciple, Musa Sibiya. With 31 disciples in attendance during their Inaugural Service, this small yet mighty team of eight disciples had 118 in attendance with 15 children and 80 visitors! They have already baptized a campus student named Victor! The day was truly a victory for the LORD!

BRAVE: Washington, DC

It was exciting to represent for the DC Church at the ICLS!
I am truly a blessed man as Patrique and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary on August 6th while in Chicago for the conference!
Patrique was on fire as she shared powerfully at the ICLS with the conference title, “Blessed to Share His Heart!”
I was honored (along with my dear brother Chris Adams) to be selected to join the prestigious group of Movement Worship Leaders as we strive to develop dynamic worship ministries across the kingdom!

Motherland: Maputo (Mozambique)

Upon our arrival to Maputo, Patrique and I were graciously met by members of the Maputo Team as well as disciples from Joburg and Lusaka! Tânia (next to Patrique under flag) and Carol (far right with glasses under flag) kept saying “it is really happening!” Samara (next to Tânia) and Yuri (far back with glasses) have done a great job leading this mission team to success!
It was a joy to spend this historic time with Raul & Lynda, who were visiting the continent of Africa for the first time…but definitely not the last! Mozambique will be forever etched on their hearts!
Patrique and I were very proud of the 31 Joburg disciples who traveled over 12 hours by bus to attend the Inaugural!
Yuri and Samara planned an excellent weekend for all the disciples in town, treating us with a bus tour of several attractions across the beautiful city of Maputo!
God blessed our efforts in sharing our faith on campus on Saturday as several visitors joined us for worship on Sunday! I was privileged to have a new friend, Lino (second from left) a campus student at Eduardo Mondlane University, join us for worship and who also invited his friend Jose (third from left) to come as well!
The sermon was electric as Raul preached his first message in Africa entitled, “The Four Levels of Faith!” Lynda also shared good news from God’s movement from around the world!
Everyone in attendance was also moved by the vulnerable Communion message (given by Yuri & Samara), the inspiring Contribution (given by Kwaku & Ashley Sarkodie), as well beautiful singing by the Joburg choir and powerful Mozambican traditional dancing!
Victor (center), a campus student at Eduardo Mondlane University, was baptized soon after the Mission Team’s arrival in the beautiful Indian Ocean! Please pray for the many studies that have begun since the Inaugural Service to bear abundant fruit for the LORD!
Patrique and I were also encouraged to celebrate Yuri and Bruna’s new dating relationship! God has great things in store for Mozambique and all of Portuguese-speaking Africa!
A prayer and dream for 11 years has finally been realized in God’s timing – we are so proud of the faith of our dear sister Carol Nhavoto! (Psalm 126:1-3)
Please pray for all the Portuguese-speaking nations in Africa (highlighted in red) to be won for the LORD! Angola is next!

Birth Announcement!

Taliah Abiodun, the second beautiful daughter born to Tolani and Kate Abiodun (Nairobi, Kenya ministry leaders), was born on July 25th!
Please pray for this beautiful family as Tolani & Kate oversee the work in Nairobi and all of East Africa for God’s glory!

“The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” (Psalm 126:3). Please continue to pray for all of the 21 churches in Africa and the 5 churches in the mid-Atlantic US as we prepare for four more Inaugural Services (US Churches: Morgantown, Columbia and Raleigh; Africa: Lome, Togo) in the upcoming weeks – we are traveling to Morgantown, West Virginia tomorrow! God’s Spirit is moving as He continues to establish His modern-day movement. Thank you for all your prayers, love and support.

Dear Kip, Elena, and FOMM Family,

Greetings from Washington DC and Johannesburg, South Africa!  The Spirit has been “blowing” me back and forth from the US to South Africa in the last three weeks, as I have had the privilege to witness glorious baptisms in addition to a bittersweet leadership transition that is guiding my family back to lead the great Washington, DC Church later this year.  I thank God for the perfect guidance of the Spirit Who leads us!

In Lusaka, Zambia, the Spirit blessed our efforts as this remnant group witnessed the glorious baptism of a single brother who will soon be attending the University of Zambia!  Please pray as members of the Joburg Church will be sent out to plant this valiant congregation at our African Missions Conference in June.  In Johannesburg, the Arts, Media & Sports Ministry of the church hosted an incredible “Open Mic” event that raised thousands of rands and featured talented performers both within and outside the church!  In Lagos, the church has a new FIRE as they celebrated four baptisms of the past weeks and set a new record for visitors in their campus sector!  Our Kampala Church also had a seamless leadership transition which now enables Osas & Ariel Atohengbe to be “blown” to serve with Patrique and me in Nairobi, Kenya.  To God be the glory!

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
The valiant remnant group in Lusaka, Zambia praise God for the baptism of Tatrah (middle right with rose) – as he declares that “Jesus is LORD!”  Please pray for several ICOC brothers who are also studying the Bible to be restored!
Our dynamic AMS ministry is on FIRE as they featured their recent “Tap Into Your Talent” (TIYT) event at a photo gallery that had over a hundred souls in attendance with performers (singers, musicians, spoken word, and dancers) from across Johannesburg!  Patrique and I are so proud of Joshua & Shyloe Ajayi for their vision and hard work for this incredible ministry!
It is always a joy to visit the saints in Washington DC as I worked with the Untalans through the leadership transition of Ron & Tracy Harding.  Please pray for our dear friends as they start a new chapter in Dallas, Texas!
LAGOS, NIGERIA
The brothers in Lagos praise God as Femi Azamma, a 2nd year student studying Sociology at the University of Lagos, was baptized on May 7th!  
The Lagos Campus Ministry prayed and fasted for their recent Campus Sunday, as 43 disciples had 307 visitors for a total attendance of 350!  Bolaji Akinfenwa, the Lagos EVL, stated, “This was my first time in 32 years of discipleship that I witnessed all the disciples standing up for the guests!”  The picture above was just one side of the room, and most of those who attended are interested in studying the Bible!
Our new sister, Rosemary Duru (middle), rejoices at her baptism!  Rosemary is a lawyer and mother a disciple in the Sydney Church!
A Lagos Ministry Intern and a dear grandson in the faith, Kingsley Chidiebere (left), baptized a dear single brother named John Odobuchi (right)!  To God be the glory!
Our dear Mama Christiana Ahana (seated), the dear aunt of Lagos sister Jacinta Adamu (second from left), was baptized into Christ on Sunday at 84 years young!  it is never too late to be united with the LORD!
KAMPALA, UGANDA
Dear sons and daughters in the faith, Osas & Ariel Atohengbe (left), EVL and WML of the Kampala Church, transferred the leadership of the Kampala Church to dear friends and ministry leaders Deji & Gbemisola Aregbesola as the Spirit blows the Atohengbes to Nairobi!  Please pray for of these special couples as they prepare to win East Africa for the LORD!

Dear Kip, Elena, and FOMM Family,

Greetings from South Africa!  We just completed our first-ever Southern Africa Missions Conference (SALC) entitled, “GOD IS ABLE,” hosted by our sister church in Johannesburg!  Many disciples commented that it was a “life-changing” time of inspiration and fellowship while experiencing the beautiful South African culture and landscape.  From Thursday, March 7th to Sunday, March 10th, 30 visiting disciples from the US, UK, UAE, Zambia and Mozambique were welcomed to Johannesburg as we dreamed for the evangelization of the 10 countries of Southern Africa! Patrique and I were encouraged with the faith of the Washington DC and Delaware disciples as 16 members (14 from Washington DC and two from Delaware) sacrificed to travel the 7000 miles to join the saints in Joburg.  With 130 souls in attendance, the highlights of the Sunday Worship Service was the baptism of a campus student named Akuna; the appointment of Nick Winn as an Evangelist; and the sending out the Maputo (Mozambique) Mission Team “for the display of (God’s) splendor!”  The Johannesburg Church is also to be commended, as their efforts to raise funds for Special Missions were vital to the success of the SALC – no funds were requested for missions for this dynamic conference – it was almost entirely funded with “African” monies! Personally, it was a joy for Patrique and me to welcome our dear friends and fellow WSLs, Michael & Michele Williamson, to Johannesburg as keynote speakers for the conference!  Remarkably, Michael and Michele were also able to celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary and Michele’s spiritual birthday while with us!  After the SALC concluded on Sunday, I had the privilege to travel to Maputo, Mozambique for a “scouting trip” with a dear “adopted son” in the faith and the leader of the Maputo Mission Team, Yuri Oliveira.  Yuri, along with Samara Santos and Bruna Oliveria (no relation) were graciously sent to South Africa from our sister church in São Paolo (Brazil) for training last February.  Along with a South African brother, Musa Sibiya and two Mozambican sisters (Drs. Carol and Tânia Nhavoto) this valiant mission team of six souls are eager to plant our first Portuguese-speaking nation on the continent of Africa – Mozambique! In English-speaking Africa, the LORD blessed the Joburg Church with two campus baptisms on Sunday and Monday from the University of Johannesburg (UJ), which has grown from 0 to 9 disciples at UJ over the past year.  Our sister churches in Kampala (Uganda) and Accra (Ghana) also had campus baptisms, and our brother Blaise Feumba reported that the 19 French Africa churches celebrated 19 souls baptized this week!  Please pray for my family as we return to Washington DC on Monday after I preach for the Joburg saints on Sunday.  The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of faith and inspiration that is already raising up men and women to be used powerfully by God!

SALC CONFERENCE!
30 visiting disciples from across the world were excited to visit the Motherland as we celebrated our first-ever Southern Africa Leadership Conference entitled, “GOD IS ABLE!” (Ephesians 3:20)
The purpose of the conference was to inspire and equip the Southern Africa saints to fulfill their part of Operation Motherland – the evangelization plan for all of Africa!  Excitingly, the sending out of the Maputo Mission Team has now enabled us to have churches in three of the 10 Southern Africa countries – South Africa, Zambia and now Mozambique!  Please pray for us to plant three more countries with cities over a million souls by 2030 – Zimbabwe, Malawi and Angola!
t was a joy to return to Johannesburg with our family after leaving to serve the DC Church just four months ago.  This pic was right before we headed out on Thursday afternoon with the SALC guests to the Elephant Sanctuary!
The African elephants showed us gentle hospitality as they were guided by their expert handlers.  We were able to feed, touch and walk with these highly intelligent creatures – the largest land mammals on earth!   Next year, I’ll schedule an event to walk with the lions!
After our time at the Elephant Sanctuary, we took an aerial cable car to enjoy panoramic views at the top of the beautiful Magaliesberg mountain range, where we saw the Hartebeespoort Dam and the lush surrounding areas of the North West province of South Africa.
We came back from our road trip to sing and enjoy a scrumptious Welcome Banquet on Thursday night for all our SALC guests as I preached the lesson, “God is Able to Save” with Patrique!
The Leadership Workshop on Friday morning was on FIRE as Michael & Michele Williamson (center) preached the keynote lesson, “God is Able to Raise Up Leaders,” along with powerful admonitions from the different aspects of the Jethro Principle in Exodus 18:21-23!
A dear brother from DC, Mike Sesay (left), was renewed by the leadership workshop to dream greatly for the LORD once again!  One of our South African brothers, Sibusiso (right), a former minister and “prophet” who became a true disciple last year, was inspired to see disciples from around the world!  Please pray for both of these great brothers to be used mightily by our God!
Remarkably, a minister named Robert Kgwete (center) traveled from Limpopo (approximately 3 hours drive from Johannesburg) after hearing about our conference and stayed with us for the entire weekend!  Please pray for Robert to study the Bible and become a baptized disciple of Jesus!
Our First General Session on Friday evening was filled with disciples eager to learn how to impact the Southern Africa region of 160 million souls.  Michael Williamson powerfully preached “God is Able to Deliver” from Daniel 3:17!
The Joburg Church’s vibrant AMS ministry was on display as authentic African dancing kicked off the night, featuring the different cultures of South Africa.  South Africa’s diversity is unique as there are 11 official languages in the country!
On Saturday morning, my dear son in the faith and the Joburg Evangelist, Osas Atohengbe, preached powerfully for the men during the Mens and Womens Breakout Sessions.  His topic, “God is Able to Provide for All our Needs” reminded us that giving into the temptation to doubt is satanic and belittles the character and power of God!
After the inspiring Morning Sessions on Saturday, we bused our SALC guests to the famous township of Soweto, a nickname for “South West Township.”  After being sobered by the tragedy displayed in the Hector Pieterson Museum, we were encouraged by the Nelson Mandela National Museum (Mandela House), the former home of the great anti-apartheid activist from 1946-1962!
Sunday Service was electric as we witnessed 130 in attendance, an Evangelist appointed, a three-part musical and the campus baptism of a University of Johannesburg student!
It was an honor to appoint my dear brother and friend, Nicolaas (Nick) Cornelius Winn, an Evangelist in the kingdom of God!  Nick (third from left) will be taking the helm of the great Lusaka (Zambia) Church which was planted back in June of last year!  
Several Zambian disciples came from Lusaka to celebrate the SALC and encourage Nick at his appointment as the new Evangelist of the Lusaka Church!
Yuri Oliveira, the leader of the Maputo Mission Team, preached a fiery sermon on the SALC theme, “GOD IS ABLE!”  I am so proud of how this young man from Brazil has grown in his humility, holiness and hunger to please God and win this lost world.
The Maputo Mission Team is ready to take Mozambique by storm!  Please pray for this dynamic group to make a powerful impact for the LORD!
The 16 disciples from Washington DC and Delaware were inspired to take the zeal and perseverance of the Southern African disciples back home to the US!
Akuna Nkuna, a second year student at the University of Johannesburg majoring in Information Systems was baptized at the end of service!  He overcame his pride in the Pentecostal doctrine to hold the truth of God’s Word!  He is a zealous young man who will prayerfully be a servant leader for the LORD on campus!
Vuyane (center), was joyfully baptized on Monday night after the SALC!  He is a campus student at the University of Johannesburg majoring in Sports Management.  He overcame the fear of family and religious tradition to make Jesus LORD!
Thanks again to Michael & Michele for joining us for life-changing conference on the Motherland!  We love you!
Patrique and I were encouraged to celebrate the successful conclusion of the SALC with our Assistant Directors, Osas & Ariel Atohengbe!  Their hard work “on ground” in Joburg made our efforts to oversee the conference a joy!
After the SALC concluded on Sunday, Yuri and I had the privilege to travel to Mozambique – a nation of 35 million souls – to “scout out the land” for the mission team!  The capital city, Maputo, is just an hour away from Johannesburg by flight!
At our arrival, Drs. Tânia and Carol Nhavoto (standing 2nd and 5th respectively) sang “We Love You With the Love of the LORD” in Portuguese!  These special sisters (physical and spiritual) were incredible hosts during our three-day visit, providing us with a cell phone and a driver to take care of our needs. 
Yuri and I had the opportunity to stay at the beautiful Serena Polana Hotel in Maputo – established in 1922!  Please pray for Lorena (middle) who is studying the Bible with the sisters and is eager to see the church planting arrive in Maputo!
The Eduardo Mondlane University (established 1975) is the oldest and largest university in Mozambique, with an enrolled student population of 40,000.  It is named after Eduardo Chivambo Monoplane, the President of the Mozambican Liberation Front (FRELIMO) until his assassination in 1969.  He was an anthropologist by profession, and worked at Syracuse University (developing the East African Studies Program) before returning to Mozambique in 1963. 
By the grace of God, Yuri and I were able to meet two bilingual EMU students who were “coincidentally” English majors – God even pointed them out to us as David [2nd from left] was wearing a shirt that said “Drew”)!  Both David and Nelson are eager to study the Bible – please pray that God will open the hearts of many students to become disciples of Jesus! 
Please pray for Lorena’s husband, Paulo (second from right), who is also eager to study the Bible with us!  Paulo is an IT specialist who is fluent in English and graduated from a Bible school!  We had a great dinner together hosted by Tânia at her home where we were able to help him to discover the truth of discipleship from Matthew 28!
Please also pray for Carol and Tânia’s dad, Arnaldo, as we enjoyed lunch together – he is also open to studying the Bible with us.  Arnaldo is the former Minister of Education for all of Mozambique!  
Please pray for all the Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) countries in Africa – Mozambique, Angola, Sâo Tomé and Príncipe, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, and Equatorial Guinea, which adopted Portuguese as its third official language in 2011.  These six countries, which comprise of over 60 million souls, were former colonies of the Portuguese Empire from 1474 to the 1970s.

Kampala, Uganda
Reagan Busobozi was baptized into Christ into Kampala on Sunday!  He is the physical brother of Kampala sister Rita Kemigisha.  Reagan overcame bitterness and unforgiveness towards his Dad to become a true disciple of Jesus!
Reagan and Ritah are now united as both physical and spiritual siblings in the LORD! 
Reagan and Ritah’s Dad joined the Kampala Church for worship on Sunday!  He was blown away by the service, and told Deji Aregbesola, the Kampala minister, “I am happy both Ritah and Reagan are here, now I am coming, then my wife and the others!”  Please pray for this entire family to be united in Christ!

Accra, Ghana
Josephine Abiodun, a disciple from the Manila Church, placed membership in Accra after serving in Manila for eight years.  Welcome to the Africanus World Sector!
The Accra brothers were fired up to celebrate the baptism of Nigel Hotor (center), a first-year student at the University of Ghana majoring in Biomedical Sciences.  Nigel overcame his Catholic traditions to embrace the word of God and become a true disciple!
God continues to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” as we continue to put our trust in Him. (Ephesians 3:20)  Please pray all of the churches throughout the Africanus World Sector to be a “display of (God’s) splendor” as we seek to please Him! (Isaiah 60:21).

Dear Kip, Elena, and FOMM Family,

Greetings from the Motherland!  It has hectic since my return from Nairobi last Friday, but God continues to work miracles!  A young brother in the entertainment industry whom we baptized last year, Ntandazo, complained of severe chest pains and difficulty breathing at a recent Singles Devotional.  Although the brothers were alerted to his condition and brought him to the public hospital, Ntandazo had to wait almost EIGHT hours before being attended to by physicians.  When he was finally examined, the doctors were able to surmise that his left lung had collapsed, and were shocked that he had survived in such a critical condition!  They were also surprised at Ntandazo’s calm demeanor as he shared about his previous issues with tubercolosis with peace and trust in God.  Our brother is now recovering well at home and should be back to full strength soon!

In Lagos, the church rejoiced at having a powerful Enrichment Workshop as a campus student was baptized and another was restored!  Please pray for their “Love Your Neighbor” Campaign to help their 18 Bible Talks to be fruitful through fasting, prayer and effective Bible studies!   The Kampala Church also celebrated the baptism of another campus student as this young planting prepares to send out disciples for the Nairobi (Kenya) planting in June!

Our brother Blaise Feumba also shared the exciting news that 32 souls were baptized across French Africa!  To God be the glory!
JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
We thank God for his mercy in sparing the life of our dear brother Ntandazo!  Although he had to endure the painful process of draining his left lung, he was surrounded by faithful brothers who brought him through this ordeal with peace and trust in God.  
Ntandazo is well-known actor in South Africa for his work on “Generations” and has already been fruitful with another brother named Stephen since his baptism last May!  Please pray for his full recovery!
It was a joy to welcome home our dear brother and sister, Joshua & Shyloe Ajayi (right with orange cap), as they returned from the US after almost two months.  Shyloe’s mother was very sick and passed away on December 26th, however the process of dealing with the funeral company and the logistics surrounding her death caused several “shenanigans” through which they had to persevere.  They were very grateful for disciples were able to support them, like Kwaku & Ashley Sarkodie, who attended and shared at the memorial service.  Thank God for the love of the kingdom!
LAGOS, NIGERIA
Solomon Atansuyi (center) is at peace with the LORD after his baptism on Friday at the Lagos Enrichment Workshop!  Solomon is a 1st-yaer Mathematics student at the University of Lagos, and was able to overcome a Uber-religious background to become a true disciple!  
Oladipupo Fadeyi (right), a campus student at the University of Lagos who is studying Pharmacy, stands sobered at the opportunity to be restored to the Lagos Church.  Please pray for God to return many souls to be fully committed to Him!
KAMPALA, UGANDA
The Kampala saints rejoiced at the baptism of Boniface Ayesiga, a 1st-year student at Makerere University majoring in social work.  Boniface was humbled by the scriptures to reject the false doctrine of Catholicism and become a true disciple!
Our new brother Boniface is equipped and eager to share the truth of the Gospel through his new First Principles book!  
Now that all our workshops have been completed, please pray for a remarkable harvest across the Motherland as we water the spiritual seeds that have been planted!  Please pray for the LORD to continue to heal the physically and spiritual sick as we put our trust in Him.  It is our prayer that God will strengthen our efforts to do “even greater things” in this Year of Miracles for his glory! (John 14:12)
